Valley High Villa is located in Runaway Bay, in the heart of Jamaica’s
beautiful northern gold coast. The property enjoys breathtaking
views of the magnificent hills around and the turquoise Caribbean
sea, as it sits high in the hills of the prestigious Cardiff Hall
Estates, just minutes walk up from the private, white sandy beach.
Valley High Villa has recently gone through a total renovation. It has
been given a fresh, stylish, global design, with comfort and quality,
exotic island feel, with a unique elegance that will surround the
visitor with happiness and utmost relaxation.
The villa offers 7 bedrooms with brand new ensuite bathrooms with
beautiful stone/tile work and modern walking showers. 4 very large
rooms have 20 ft vaulted ceilings. All rooms with fans and a/c and a
great view from every window. 3 of the bedrooms have either 2 twin
beds or 1 king, the fourth one is especially large with 2 full size beds
and a separate lounge area. Three bedrooms located on the lower
level, 2 share a bathroom in the middle and the third one has its own
ensuite bathroom. One room has one full bed and the other 2 have
two twin beds or 1 king if put together. There is a deck outside
these bedrooms opening to a fabulous view of the ocean and the
mountains.
Valley High Villa can accommodate up to 20 guests and 2 babies.
For groups larger than 20, we can book neighbouring villas, which
is ideal for large family celebrations, weddings, etc.
The living room and the huge veranda open up to an incredible view
of the ocean and the mountains. You must see it to believe it.
There are many outside terraces to lounge at, all with the fabulous
views. A new pavilion has been built for guest's enjoyment and a
separate guest bathroom for any visitors. There is a new Garden
Gallery Lounge that offers guests the enjoyment of the lush tropics.
Backyard garden offers a place for casual barbeque cooking and
games on the lawn.
Valley High Villa has one of the most dramatic villa locations in
Jamaica, since it literally sits on top of the hill, with 3+ acres of lush
tropical plantation flourishing right underneath the terraces and the
pool. “ The pool sits on top of the world”, said one guest. It really
feels like it. As you stand up on one of the terraces, taking in the
view, looking down - you feel high up, soaring over the forest of
palm, banana, orange, lime, avocado, bread fruit and many other
exotic fruit trees that you may not have heard of. There are about
300 fruit trees on the property and even a small river runs through,
down on the bottom of the valley. A fun hike down the hill for a dip
in the cold clear water, is a special treat. It is a jungle down there.
This huge property is completely fenced around. The entrance to
the property is through enormous iron gates, that lead you into the
high up panoramic world of Valley High. We have live in staff
including overnight security. Private driver with new, air-conditioned,
vehicles, various sizes, at additional, special rates for our guests.
We are happy to share the delicious cooking of our chefs. They
really enjoy creating elegant dishes, bringing your Jamaican
standards to the next level. Not to worry, if you want your rice’n’
peas the way you always have had them, you got it. Ackee and salt
fish with freshly fried dumplings, warm bread fruit chips dipped in
our signature avocado guacamole dip and all the rest of the
delicious Jamaican dishes are without a doubt, the best, at our
villa. Depending of the season, lot of the produce can come from
our own trees.
The food for the visitor can be planned in various ways. It is
common that visitors like to buy their own foods and bring to the
cook to prepare. It also is possible to have the cook shop and do all
the food planning with or without the guests input, then be
reimbursed for the cost of the shopping. Or, go shop with the cook.
Communication with the cook will be important to ensure happy
dining.
You may enjoy your meals served either by the large mahogany
dining table, inside the villa, or at the lovely veranda with the
fabulous views of the hills and ocean. You may choose to sit by the
pool and have your meal with all the beauty around you. It is all up
to your moments fancy. After all, it is your vacation! You need the
luxury of last minute whimsy, who knows, you may want to eat in
bed !!! Little bit of hedonism never hurts.
Each bedroom has its own flat screen tv with satellite service. There
is a sound system that plays CDs, cassettes, FM/AM radio, and the
port for MP3 players. There is also a large flat screenTV with a dvd
and vcr player in the living room. There is a large video library
available for guests enjoyment.
Our housekeeper is available for baby-sitting, special services like
ironing, guest laundry or hair braiding, for an agreed extra fee.
Children love her, she is adorable. Special arrangements can be
made to hire a life guard for the pool area, for extra fee. We also
offer you the services of a professional licenced message therapist
and personal trainer, full range of spa treatments available, all at the
privacy of the villa.
As a guest of Valley High you will have access to the private
membership beach. Our beautiful white sand beach is just minutes
walk down the hill form the villa. Guests can enjoy this beach for
just relaxing or arrange a party for a special occasion.
For the golfer, there is the Breezes Super Club Championship Golf
Course right at the bottom of the Cardiff Hall hills, (also a walking
distance).
Just a few minutes walk down the hill, there is the Heart Hotel. A
charming small hotel, with a great restaurant and a bar on the
beautiful terrace by the pool, looking down over the golf course onto
the ocean. Definitely worth a stop.
If you like to go out for more action, whether during the days or for
more party and dancing at night, your choices are not limited in
Runaway Bay. There are lots of all inclusive grand resorts along
the beach nearby. As a Valley High guest, you can join the fun at
these Super Clubs for a small fee that will be all inclusive during the
visit in the resort. There are also lots of small beach bars and other
fun local places where one can enjoy a true Jamaican experience
with music, food and the friendly people of this unique island.
